Jackson Hole is a really nice little city nestled in the valley of the Grand Tetons. It is all things western but upscale. Our hotel, The Lodge at Jackson Hole was a beautiful, rustic place made to look like a log lodge with ceramic bears everywhere. We had made reservations at the restaurant next door called the Gun Barrel. We had a great dinner and promptly came home and went to bed. When we were up and packed this morning we headed out to Grand Tetons park. After enjoying the park we came back into Jacksosn Hole and had lunch at a cute place called the Bunnery which was a bakery/deli where they made everything there. It was wonderful. Their slogan on the servers shirts was "get your buns in here" which was cute. We walked around the square enjoying the cool weather then headed over the mountain pass to Idaho. We were disappointed that we did not see any moose while in the park so while heading out of town we pass this little creek where lo and behold we see a moose dining on some trees in the shallow waters of this creek. We are now in Idaho Falls and of course we had a potato and now I am trying to catch up on the blog. Tomorrow we head to Utah which will be a long day of just driving so that we can see Arches National Park the next day. Enjoy the pictures.
