Airport for Moab, Utah....not much there.
Delicate Arch is the name of this one.
We thought this one looked like a hand.
The Lone Ranger and Tonto was filmed in Arches and in Moab, Utah. After leaving the park we headed to Moab to get some lunch then took the scenic route back to the interstate which really presented us a preview of being in the valley on the moon. This route runs along the Colorado River so beside the wild rock landscape we were able to see rafters on the rapids in places. It took us over an hour to go slightly over 30 miles but it was a unique ride for sure. The terrain changed again when we crossed the Colorado state line and the mountains and cliff here where white then changed to multi colors as we got closer to Glenwood Springs where we are spending the night. It is an upscale pretty community about 190 miles west of Denver. We have a great room at the Hampton Inn tonight where each of us has a "real bed" instead of one of us on a sofa bed so we are enjoying that. We went to a Mexican place down the street for dinner and are all now blogging or sorting through photos. Tomorrow we will have it easy as we spend two nights in Denver...yippee two nights in one place!

I wonder if they filmed that commercial where the girl climbs that rock there - you know the one? That park looks just like it!
