Yogi, Boo Boo and Day 2 of Yellowstone

Our second day in the park was to see the geyser basins including Old Faithful.  We had such a beautiful day to see them too.  The park is very crowded with especially Japanese tourists both in huge rental vans, cars and buses.  They are everywhere and take photos of everything..including me while I was sitting on a bench waiting for Kay and Debbie to return to the van!  We had a wonderful day at all the geyser areas even though Kay got out of the van to yell at a Japanese car that decided to go around everyone who was waiting in line for a parking space.  As she did so, the people in line behind us applauded her!  It took us all day to go 63 miles through the park but we had many laughs and lots of beautiful and breathtaking sights as you will see.  We had lunch at the Old Faithful Lodge and then watched the eruption which of course did not disappoint!  It makes this display about every 90 minutes round the clock, give or take 10 minutes.  The bubbling mud to the steam vents everywhere you look was really something to see.  We were again exhausted from getting in and out of the car what seemed like hundreds of times today as we ended the day in Jackson Hole.  Enjoy the photos.

This deer was just munching on flowers near the bathrooms.

The ranger was frantically trying to get tourist back in their cars when it took off to the woods again.

One laying just under the fallen tree on left side.

Then a huge lake in the middle of the forest...

We again have to climb over the mountains to get out of the park.
